36 days of type 2019
My first dive into "36 Days of Type" back in 2019—36 days of daily ideas, illustrations, and a calendar animation to celebrate crossing the finish line!
I participated in a worldwide typography design activity on Instagram called "36 Days of Type"! This was the 6th edition—and my first time joining. For each letter, I illustrated an object, character, or activity starting with that letter. For the numbers, it was all about making them look like the numbers themselves!
At the end of the challenge, I created a calendar-style animation that brought all the illustrations together.
It was my first time creating and posting a piece every day for 36 days straight, and honestly, coming up with ideas and carving out work time daily was tough.
But when I finally crossed the finish line, I was so overwhelmed with happiness!
Just like at the end of the animation, I felt like throwing confetti all over myself to celebrate!
