36 days of type 2021
For the 2021 edition of 36 Days of Type, I created a colorful circus-themed 3D alphabet—bringing playful characters to life with Blender!
In 2021, I participated in the 8th edition of 36 Days of Type again! That year, I wanted to use the new 3D modeling skills I had picked up during the pandemic. I was also craving something colorful and fun, so I chose "circus" as my theme. I designed characters performing circus-inspired acts and poses to shape each letter of the alphabet.
The process started with rough sketches in my notebook, then I expanded the ideas while adding color in Illustrator, and finally brought everything to life in Blender.
I’ve always loved the smooth, plastic-like texture and glossy reflections of 3D rendering. While working on this series, it felt almost like I could reach out and touch these characters who exist only in the digital world.
