Ant Candy Parade: Color Trials in Progress
Gave my candy-loving ants a fresh coat of color! Still not sure about that one tiny hat, though. Might need a sleep-and-see.
Today I worked on coloring the ant illustration! I’d already done a rough color pass earlier, but since I had to change the ink colors for various reasons—and, okay, I was in a different mood—I ended up starting over from scratch.
This time I’m using tomato red, fluorescent yellow, federal blue, and black. I’m having trouble making the hat on the last ant stand out enough, though. So just like yesterday, I’m pausing here and giving it some breathing room. I’ll come back and look at it with fresh eyes later!
