Balloon Museum

We visited the new Balloon Museum in Chicago and honestly? Way more fun than expected. Ball pits, bubbles, and lots of floating fun.

Balloon Museum
The biggest room was the ball pit—and my husband said the way everyone was slowly crawling through it looked like a bunch of worms squirming around. It was weird… and hilarious!

Today my husband and I went to the newly opened Balloon Museum in Chicago! As the name suggests, it's an experiential museum all about balloons. We're the kind of people who like to try out these kinds of pop-up museums at least once—just in case. I mean, we totally went into the Museum of Ice Cream ready to make fun of it… and then ended up having an absolute blast. And TeamLab’s exhibitions in Toyosu always leave us amazed and inspired, so we never know—there might be some unexpected joy waiting.

To be honest? It was better than I expected! It wasn’t really like TeamLab’s art-meets-tech magic, but it was still a fun, balloon-filled experience. There were giant soap bubbles, a classic ball pit (gotta have one), and even a room where balloons floated up all around us. Super fun!
