Because… It’s the Holidays!

It’s been raining in Chicago since this morning, and the skies have been gray all day. I didn’t have anything scheduled today except for a quick delivery of the cat postcard order this morning—so I decided to take it easy!
I mean, I’ve been going nonstop with Osusowake Club prep since October, and it’s the holiday season now, after all.

Something about this gloomy weather just makes you feel sleepy, doesn’t it? I ended up taking multiple naps throughout the day! But I’m telling myself it’s totally fine—because it’s the holidays!

Lately in our house, anything from taking it easy to sneaking an extra treat has been getting waved off with a simple:
“Because… it’s the holidays!” 😆
