Blog Glow-Up Alert!
My blog got a quiet little glow-up! The theme changed, the code got wobbly, but in the end—it’s cuter and bloggier than ever.

Today I gave my blog a little design refresh! It might not look that different at first glance… but actually, it kind of is.
I use a platform called Ghost.io to run this blog. Up until yesterday, I was using a theme called Taste, which I think is technically meant for recipe blogs. But I liked it because it was super minimal and made my illustrations pop.
Still, after writing every day for 70 days, I started to want more. For example, Taste didn’t show timestamps, and that started to bug me. I often write about seasons or weekdays, and I thought—wait, isn’t it weird if the post itself doesn’t say what day it was written?
Also, a friend once told me, “Your blog doesn’t look like a blog,” and… that kind of stuck with me. So I switched to a new theme called Casper, which feels more like a classic blog design. A little more structure, a little more bloggy.
Just like with the previous version, this site is actually pretty customized. I used every scrap of coding knowledge I learned back in school, and teamed up with ChatGPT to make all the tweaks I wanted. It was a bit chaotic, but I finally got it into a shape I’m happy with. Success!
