Reprinting Everyone: Back at Spudnik Press!

I revisited a piece I made in 2020—Everyone—for a brand-new risograph reprint, now in a vibrant 4-color palette!

Reprinting Everyone: Back at Spudnik Press!
So many Everyones to choose from—now the hardest part is deciding which one to share!

Today I went back to Spudnik Press to reprint my 2020 piece Everyone!

After last week’s solo printing session, I was itching to get back in and print something new. That’s when I remembered—I've been giving away Everyone so often that I’m nearly out of stock. Time for a reprint!

The original version was printed in fluorescent pink and blue, but this time I wanted to experiment with a new palette: fluorescent orange, fluorescent pink, federal blue, yellow, and light teal.

Since you never really know how risograph colors will interact until you print them, I started with a pink and orange base. For the second layer, I tried layering light teal, federal blue, and yellow individually to see what worked best.

At first, I was excited about creating a pink-yellow-orange gradient—but it turns out the yellow was way too bright, and it made the word “everyone” hard to read. Then I tried federal blue over pink, but that combo didn’t really pop.

In the end, the winning combinations were:

  • fluorescent pink + light teal
  • fluorescent orange + federal blue
  • or sometimes + teal instead
I was on a roll today—super happy with how spot-on the registration turned out on some of the prints!

I also finished cutting the paper and signing each print. Now I’m fully stocked and ready to hand these out or bring them along to upcoming fairs and pop-up events!
