Charlie Yellow’s First Sticker Is On the Way!
I finally made my very first Charlie Yellow sticker! It’s me, hugging a giant fish (as one does). Can’t wait to stick it everywhere.

I finally did it—I made my first Charlie Yellow sticker and sent the order off to the sticker shop!
Last month I handed out my business cards and got great responses, so I wanted to make something even more casual to share with more people. And of course, I went with one of my proudest illustrations: me holding a giant fish! The fish even has a little QR code that links to my Instagram profile.
I ordered from a company called Custom Stickers. I actually used them a few years ago and loved the result—great colors, fast turnaround, and super easy to work with. Plus, they’re way more affordable than MOO.
To prep the art, I first converted my CMYK Procreate file to RGB by creating a new RGB canvas and copy-pasting each layer over. Then I re-colored everything, made the background transparent, and saved it as a PNG.
Next, I opened that PNG in Illustrator, placed it on a 3x3 inch RGB artboard, added the background color and typography, and saved it as an Illustrator file. I sent that over to Custom Stickers. They accept RGB files and Illustrator file is super flexible in case they need to tweak anything.
I specifically moved the design into Illustrator because Procreate just doesn’t have good typography features—especially when it comes to text-on-a-path. I searched through a bunch of tutorials on YouTube, and every single creator was manually placing letters one by one. I immediately said “nope!” and ran back to Illustrator.

Since I picked the Economy option, it’ll take 5–8 business days to get printed. Can’t wait to see them in person!
