Charlie’s Playground just unlocked a brand new area—now with a portfolio page and a playful surprise on the homepage! Come visit!
A little while ago, I wrote about saying goodbye to my official website. When I started wondering what to do about my portfolio, a super simple idea popped into my head: why not just add a portfolio page to my blog? When I used to run my official website and blog separately, I only ever thought about attaching the blog to the main site. But once I decided to let go of the official website, this simple and most logical idea finally showed up. It’s funny how sometimes the best ideas are hiding right under your nose.
So! I added a "Portfolio" button to the navigation bar.
Now you can check out all the projects where my little ideas crossed the finish line after going through lots of creative adventures!
As for the playful, interactive features I couldn’t let go of from my old site—my husband built a new surprise for me that brings a similar kind of joy. (For now, it only works on desktop!)
If you move your mouse around on the homepage, little characters will pop up along with you! It doesn’t have any deep meaning... and that’s exactly why it’s so much fun. It perfectly captures what I want this place to feel like. Thank you so much, husband!
