Holiday Market Visit at Field Notes HQ
We visited the Field Notes Holiday Market near our house! First time going inside their HQ—and we even got to meet Cody Hudson!
Today we went to the Holiday Market at Field Notes, just a short walk from our house!
This is our third holiday season living in Chicago, but somehow, only this year did we finally start noticing that these kinds of events are happening all over the city. 😂 This time, my husband spotted it on Instagram—nice catch!
We’re pretty heavy users of Field Notes—we use them for nightly journaling and for little notebooks we carry when we go out. Every time we find a new version while traveling, we end up buying it. I knew their headquarters was nearby, and that it had a shop inside, but today was my first time going in. And wow—it’s so stylish!
Inside the market, there were paper flower crafts, ceramics, prints, and books by artists from around Chicago. The table we got most excited about was Cody Hudson’s! My husband has been a fan of his for a long time, so he looked so happy to talk to him in person—and that made me happy too.
Cody’s posters with chunky, bold shapes, and his hand-drawn plant illustrations on construction paper were so much fun to look at. What a cool encounter!
