Tomorrow is the big day—Chicago Publishers Fair!!!
For the past two months, I’ve been watching my husband work super hard on his pieces and booth setup, and sometimes I helped out with the prep too.
I even made and printed a Halloween card just for this event!
For both of us, this will be the very first time putting a price tag on our own work and setting it out in front of real, actual people. We’ve been preparing as much as we can, and earlier this month, we went to the Pretty Good Fest to do some on-the-ground research. We got to chat with some artists who were tabling there and picked up a lot of great advice on how to prepare and what to expect!
We’ve done all the prep we can—now it’s time to enjoy the day!
Oh, and along with the postcards, I’m also planning to display a few older pieces, like the ice cream poster and the face poster I made a while back.
