Found My Dream Stacking Color Pencils in Amsterdam!
I’ve been hunting for stacking color pencils all year… and found them at a museum gift shop in Amsterdam, of all places!?
The thing I’ve been searching for all year: stacking color pencils! I wanted to be able to draw casually and color things in whenever I’m out and about. I do have some tiny colored pencils, but a single stacking pencil that carries tons of colors is perfect for me—it fits right in my pencil case with my pens, and I travel light. I used to have them when I was a kid, but as an adult, it’s been surprisingly hard to find stacking color pencils in the U.S.
But last month, I found them at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam! I couldn’t believe it—like, here of all places!? You never know where you’ll stumble on the thing you’ve been wanting, so it makes me want to always keep my eyes open when I’m out.
