Drawing Practice: Full-Body Protest

Today’s sketch theme was “angry and resisting”—basically full-body protest poses. Way more fun than I expected, and I couldn’t stop laughing while drawing.

Drawing Practice: Full-Body Protest
I practiced drawing at a café today… kinda worried I looked like a weirdo grinning at my sketchbook the whole time.

I kept up my drawing practice today, but unlike yesterday or the day before, things went super smoothly! The theme was “people resisting” and “people angry.” Once I started sketching, I couldn’t stop laughing.

I tried drawing myself, my husband as a character, and even Winnie-the-Pooh, all doing a kind of full-body protest pose—stretching stiff and stubborn like a kid throwing a fit. Suddenly, what usually feels like tough practice turned into pure fun.

I realized something: when the theme itself makes me laugh as I draw, even my weak spots in drawing become way easier to tackle.
