Getting Ready for 2026

So many ideas are bubbling up for the new year—art fairs, new zines, Osusowake Club plans! I think I’m ready to jump in.

Getting Ready for 2026
I really did a lot of drawing and printing this year!

Only two days left in 2025! As I look back on everything I did this year, I can feel so many new ideas bubbling up for the next one. I've been journaling every morning, writing down all kinds of scattered thoughts—some a bit far-fetched, some closer to reality—but recently things have started to come together. So today, I asked AI to help me plan out a rough timeline from January to May!

Next year, I really want to take part in even more art book fairs and print fairs, both locally and maybe even abroad. That means I’ll need to focus on creating new work for those events! I also want to reach out to more art stores around Chicago and see if they'd be interested in carrying my zines or prints. And of course, I hope to keep the Osusowake Club going, evolving with the seasons.

But at the heart of it all, I think the most important thing is simply to keep making things—whatever they may be. Everything else, like the fairs or store outreach, all exists to support that.

Now that my mind feels clear and focused, it’s just a matter of putting ideas into action. I think I’m ready to start 2026!
