Idea Sprouts Everywhere!
Too many things to say, so I’m saying all of them! From zine reprints to Pokémon and business cards, it’s a big mix—but a fun one.

Today, I have too many tiny topics bouncing around in my head—so I’m just going to share them all as idea seedlings!
Next Project!
I’ve started prepping the reprint of my very first zine from 2020: Fruit Body Playboy!
Stay tuned!
Another Project!
This week, I went to an event hosted by The Everboss (a Chicago Women Entrepreneurs Community), and handed out my new business cards. To my surprise, they were a hit! So now I’m planning to turn the design into a sticker. Stay tuned for that, too!
Shattering a Fixed Idea
At the same Everboss event, I met so many inspiring women with their own business ideas. One of them was Jasmin, who really stood out. After working in fashion, beauty, running a spa, and even real estate, she’s now launching her own cosmetic brand this year!
I always thought cosmetics were something only big companies with unlimited resources could make. But… wait, why? That belief just got shattered. When you think about it, every cosmetics company starts with someone’s desire to become beautiful. Of course, it takes a lot of research, people, and process—but still.
What stuck with me most? She said she doesn’t even have the word “quit” in her vocabulary. To her, failure is just a part of the journey—and she said it with a smile.
What’s Your Type? (The Pokémon Kind.)
Lately, my husband has rediscovered his childhood love for Pokémon games and cards, and while chatting about it with him, I had a realization.
Last year, I took the Gallup StrengthsFinder test, which sorts your talents into 34 categories. It helped me understand my own strengths and learn how to use them. Kind of like discovering your own Pokémon type—once you know what you’re good at and where your weak points are, you can play to your strengths!
Happy weekend! ✨
