Monthly Charlie’s Playground : February 2026
It’s still freezing here in Chicago, but I hope March brings more sunny days.

My Zines and Prints Are Now at Lot’sa! (Feb 6)

Dropped off my zines and prints at Lot’sa today—officially a consigner now! Feeling grateful and excited to share my work locally.

Most Memorable Line I Wrote This Month

“But I don’t actually like giving up.”

I had completely stalled on the Spring Osusowake Club illustration and left it untouched for a whole week. But deep down, I really didn’t want to give up. So I reset my mindset, loosened up, and started sketching again.

And I’m so glad I didn’t quit—because if I had, the Spring Osusowake Club would never have been completed.

Author’s Note

To be honest, there were several days this month when I wasn’t feeling well, and I couldn’t write the blog for nearly a week. It was frustrating. But I had to keep reminding myself that recovering my health was more important than anything else.

As much as this blog means to me, my body is the foundation of everything. I want to continue creating joyful, cute illustrations and prints—while taking good care of myself.
