✨ My Favorite Post of the Month

"I Enrolled in My Imaginary Art School! (September 4)

Since mid-August, I’ve been following a custom art school program guided by ChatGPT—and loving it! September’s theme was storytelling, and I dove in deep with week-by-week illustration challenges that helped sharpen both my ideas and execution.

Most Memorable Phrase I Wrote

“200 Days of Daily Blogging”
On September 15, I reached my 200th consecutive blog post! Back when I hit Day 100, I wasn’t sure how sustainable daily blogging would be, but now it’s completely woven into my daily routine—so much so that not writing feels unthinkable. Lately, blogging has doubled as a reflection tool for my imaginary art school assignments, and I often find that writing helps spark new ideas for the next day. Next stop: Day 300!

Author’s Note

September was one of my most consistent and productive months so far. I worked steadily on my imaginary art school assignments and was able to finish several illustrations I truly love. One highlight was developing a Halloween card design I plan to sell at the Chicago Publishers Fair next month. I also traveled to Asheville and New York, each with its own unique art scene, and came home feeling inspired.

Looking ahead to October, I’ll be diving into the next phase of my long-brewing project: The Charlie Yellow Gifting Club—a concept I’ve been simmering since July. Can’t wait to share more. Stay tuned!
