Osusowake Club: Production Week Begins!
Kicking off a big production week for Osusowake Club! There's still a lot to do, but I’m taking deep breaths and going one step at a time.
Alright—this week I’m diving into the final production stage for Osusowake Club!
Actually… I’ve decided to keep the Christmas tree illustration I printed a couple weeks ago. After looking at it again, I thought—wait, it’s cute! It totally works!
So I’m going with it.
That means all I have left to do is:
- Finish color separations for the remaining two illustrations
- Create the Osusowake Club logo
- Design the little info pamphlet that explains what it’s all about
I’ve already booked another risograph session at Spudnik Press for this Saturday,
so I really need to finish all the color separations by then.
It’s the kind of moment where I could easily start freaking out… but because of that, I’m trying to stay calm, breathe, and just take things one task at a time.
Today I started working on the Osusowake Club logo. In Japan, “osusowake” usually makes me think of things like sharing a big box of fruit, or giving someone a portion of something you made in a big pot—like stew.
So I feel like the idea of handing something over fits that image really well.
That’s as far as today’s brainstorming got—
I’ll think more on it tomorrow!
