My Brain Is Fried, But Osusowake Club Is Hatching Nicely!
I've been glued to Procreate doing color separations all day, and yes—my brain is totally fried. But!! Osusowake Club is finally hatching into the world.
Today… my brain basically exploded. 💥 Kind of like the character in today’s illustration. Because I’ve been doing nonstop color separation work for the Osusowake Club postcards!
I don’t know how many hours I spent staring at Procreate. But I think—fingers crossed—I finally finished color separating everything in a way I’m happy with.
(I’ll double-check everything later with my art director/husband, of course!)
For this print run, I’m planning to use Marine Red, Yellow, Teal, and Federal Blue.
It’s kind of a darker color lineup than I originally expected, but that’s the wild part of risograph: you don’t really know how it’ll turn out until you hit print!
And that’s both the scary part… and the fun of it.
