Reproducing Uma Kuji
Reproducing 40 copies of UMA KUJI—with a serious bookbinding upgrade.
Today, I’m working on reproducing Uma Kuji. Last weekend, I printed enough for 40 copies—and today I’m assembling them!
Actually, during the first batch, I had no idea we even owned a stapler that could handle this book size. So I used this very DIY method: placing the book on top of an eraser, opening the stapler flat, and pressing it down to bind the pages. It worked… but it wasn’t exactly efficient!
But now we’ve discovered that my husband has a long-reach stapler—longer than a standard one—and it’s a total game changer. This time, that stapler is doing all the heavy lifting!
Time to assemble, assemble, assemble!
