Brainstorming Fortune Messages for Fire Horses

I may be shifting directions on my Kakuji project—because these fire-wielding horses are just too cute (and perfect for 2026)!

I know it’s silly to swoon over my own drawings—but I can’t help it. That’s just who I am!

Today, I worked with AI to brainstorm fortune messages to go along with the fire-handling horse illustrations I drew yesterday. Originally, I was planning to create the omikuji with zebras, donkeys, unicorns, and pegasi—but now I might be changing direction! The horses wielding fire in all kinds of ways are just too cute, and it feels very fitting for 2026, the year of the Fire Horse!
