A Sea of Tulips at Richardson Tulip Festival 2025
Wandering through endless fields of tulips in every shade and shape, I felt like I had stepped into a living daydream.

Yesterday, my husband and I visited the Richardson Tulip Festival 2025, which had just opened its gates!
Even though the air was still chilly, the tulips stood tall and proud, lifting their big blooms bravely toward the sky. Some rows were still tightly closed in their buds, waiting for the right moment, but the sections that had already burst into color were so breathtaking, they made me sigh out loud.
If we had timed it just a little differently, the whole field might have looked like the opening scene from Wicked — a never-ending carpet of tulips stretching to the horizon!
As a sweet bonus, every visitor was allowed to pick one tulip of their choice for free. If you wanted more, it was just $2 a stem.
Watching everyone wander between the tulip rows, carefully choosing their favorites, looked just like bees buzzing around, searching for the perfect flower.
Surrounded by endless colors under the big open sky, I felt such a beautiful sense of abundance — like my heart was overflowing.

Walking through a daydream made of tulips!
A big thank you to my husband for surprising me with this trip!
