Snow Tweaks and Dancing Warmth

Got the OK on the colors, so today I made some layout tweaks and tried to bring more movement to the snow around them!

Snow Tweaks and Dancing Warmth
Trying something I’ve never done before is always nerve-wracking, but I feel so proud—this swirling snow turned out just like I imagined!

Today I worked on some tweaks to the snowman dancing illustration I colored yesterday.

My art director (aka my husband) gave me the go-ahead on the overall colors, which is great!
So I focused on little adjustments—like making the left and right empty space feel more active, and slightly shrinking the whole composition to reduce that “cramped at the top” feeling.

What I put the most effort into today was the flow of the snow swirling around the characters.
It’s cold when it snows, of course—but when you’re dancing, your body and heart warm up, and it kind of feels like even the snow is on your side!
I tried to capture that playful feeling.
I hope it looks like they’re in their own little world!

That’s it for today’s work!
Now I’ll take a little break and decide whether to come back for more edits or move on to color separation.
