Still working on the snowman dancing illustration—tried some colors today! Might let it sit overnight and look again tomorrow.

I think using red for the girl’s jacket and adding a stronger white highlight between her and the snowman’s faces really helps draw the eye to where they’re happily dancing—maybe!

Today I kept working on the snowman dancing illustration.

I was thinking, “What kind of colors would make this feel fun?”—so I tried coloring it like this! For the risograph ink colors, I’m still using the same ones as before: teal, federal blue, marine red, and florescent yellow.

Even though it’s a dim, snowy setting, I want it to feel like the world lights up just for these two as they dance together. Does it feel that way yet? Hmm… maybe I’ll let it sit overnight and look again tomorrow.
