The intensity in this cat’s eyes got me immediately.

Last weekend, we took a last-minute trip to Asheville, North Carolina! My husband and I actually spent two years living there during the pandemic (kind of an emergency relocation), and we still go back a lot. Our family also lives there, so Asheville is one of those places that feels extra special and familiar at the same time. This time, we had some airline miles that were about to expire, and while casually looking for places that were within budget, Asheville popped up as an option—so we went for it!

One of our favorite things to do there is just wandering around downtown. There’s always a nice mix of old, classic cafés and restaurants alongside new bars, gift shops, and all kinds of little spots popping up. It’s the kind of place that’s fun no matter how many times you visit.

And of course, since Asheville is also a city of art—there’s tons of street stickers everywhere! So you know what that means… time for an Asheville edition of Street Art Forage!

Is this alien… a cactus fairy?? And wait, that person’s not even on the moon if you look closely. So many details to unpack here.
This fox has such a proud, powerful vibe. I love it.
I kept wondering what kind of feeling led to this sticker being made… and honestly, I still don’t know.
If you grew up with Pokémon, there’s no way you can look away from this.
I saw this flower graffiti downtown too—it seems like it might be kind of a famous one around here?
And finally—an unbelievable reunion! I spotted the same punching match sticker I found in Chicago’s West Town the other day!
