Test Printing the Uma-Kuji!
I test printed my Uma-Kuji today using my inkjet printer—and it turned out better than I expected! The size and layout feel just right.
Today I finally test printed my Uma-Kuji (horse omikuji) using my inkjet printer!
The size of each strip feels just right, and I think the balance between the illustrations and text is looking pretty solid too. One thing I decided to try was rolling up each fortune and sliding it into a wide boba straw to help hold its shape—and it ended up being such a cute accent!
I’m going to let it sit for a few days and look at it with fresh eyes. If it still feels good, I’ll move forward with printing the final version on the real paper stock!
