Color Crisis: What Happened to My Tree?!
I thought I’d finish the final illustration today, but after coloring… something felt off. Time to rethink tomorrow!
Today I brought the first Osusowake Club illustration into Procreate to finish the final version!
Well—that was the plan. I started coloring, and by the time I was done, I was like… “Wait, this isn’t what I imagined at all.”
I used teal, federal blue, florescent yellow, and florescent pink—but maybe I should’ve used red after all. The teal for the tree might be too heavy, too.
I do like some parts: the shadows on the tree’s feet and the gradient on the chair turned out nice!
Tomorrow I’m going to rethink the color palette and try finishing it again. Wish me luck!
