Fluorescent Pink Said “No.”

Fluorescent pink vs. me: 2 hours, zero progress, and one very stubborn ink.

Fluorescent Pink Said “No.”
At first it was printing a little—uneven, but still something… but by the end, it was only printing like four vertical lines.

Another day, another riso challenge! …or at least, that was the plan.

Today I chose fluorescent pink—but apparently, I picked one of the most difficult inks. My husband even warned me ahead of time, saying, “That one clogs a lot.”

Still, I was feeling confident. After the past couple of days, I thought maybe I could just troubleshoot with AI (shoutout to Gemini) and somehow make a miracle happen.

Nope.

The peach fairy I was supposed to print today 🍑✨

After two full hours of battling with the machine, the ink flow didn’t improve at all. The ink bottle was clearly full, but the machine kept throwing an “ink shortage” error. I ran over 60 sheets through in confidential mode, did tons of test prints, even tried slow mode… nothing worked!!

I officially give up!

According to AI, it might be because Chicago is too cold, and the ink needs warmth to behave properly. So now I’m wondering… will this moody fluorescent pink finally decide to cooperate when summer comes?
